If I am recently graduate with little or no work experience how can I make My Resume Better?

1) If you had any internship experience in college, be sure to put that on your resume. You should also write down any volunteer projects you participated in. Even if you were not paid (i.e. most internships and volunteer opportunities) it can show the employer that you are responsible and able to balance several things at once. If you did not have any internships or did not volunteer, write down any extra curricular activities you participated in.

If you worked on any projects that are related to the company you are interviewing for, put that on your resume. If the employer sees you have experience in their field, even if it was not professional experience, it could make you stand out.

2) Many recent college graduates do not have much work experience but may feel intimidated by other candidates who have internship and job experience. One way to make yourself stand out is to list especially impressive projects you completed during college on your resume under the heading “Academic Projects”. This will show employers that you were a productive student and that you have skills and training from your educational experience that sets you apart from other candidates.
